Umberto Davi is the Principal and Founding Attorney of the Law Offices of Umberto S. Davi, PC. Prior to establishing the law firm, Mr. Davi was an Associate Attorney with the Law Firm of DiNatale and Montemurro in Chicago, Illinois, where he practiced in the areas of criminal law and civil litigation.

Mr. Davi is a former Cook County Probation Officer.  While he was a Probation Officer and just prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Davi was assigned to the notable and highly respected late Cook County Judge Louis B. Garippo’s Courtroom.  In this courtroom, Mr. Davi experienced the proceedings of one of the highest profile Chicago criminal cases, where John Wayne Gacy was found guilty of 33 murders and sentenced to death.

Mr. Davi changed his focus from criminal law to general practice and family law when he opened his law practice in Western Springs in 1984.  Since then, he has never looked back.

The success of his family law and general law practice comes from his genuine compassion for people and a strong desire to help people with difficult and challenging family law situations.  Mr. Davi’s clients may be at their lowest point in life when he first meets them. The opportunity and ability to help his clients resolve their issues and assist in their lives moving forward in a positive direction is what strengthens Mr. Davi’s commitment to his profession.
